Introduction to large format cameras

This practical seminar is intended for anyone interested in large format photography who would like to gain a practical and understandable introduction to the process.

The workshop begins with an introduction to the basics of large format photography, including an overview of large format cameras, how they work, types of film, and essential accessories. Participants will then move on to creating images in the Si camera studio, working with 4×5, 10×10, and 20×24 format cameras.

The workshop will conclude with an introduction to photo development, demonstrating how to process black-and-white photographic paper at home.

No previous experience is necessary. However, a basic knowledge of analog (film) photography will be helpful.
