These group analog photography workshops are designed for students and members of the local community. For groups of friends or colleagues. They provide an engaging and educational introduction to analog photography through hands-on learning.
Participants will explore how cameras work by observing the formation of images and learning the basic principles of analog cameras. Using historical photographic techniques, including antique cameras, participants will have the opportunity to create photographs and experience the early processes of photography.
During the program, participants will be encouraged to explore their personal and community history by examining family photo albums and comparing historical photographs with contemporary images. This activity encourages reflection on memory, heritage, and the role of photography in documenting everyday life.
The workshops are open to people of all ages and social backgrounds and are suitable for schools, cultural centers, libraries, and community spaces. The program is designed to be implemented in both cities and smaller towns, helping to reach different regions of Lithuania and encouraging young people and local communities to take an interest in the cultural heritage of analog photography.
The program will conclude with a public exhibition of the photographs created in the workshops, giving participants the opportunity to share their work and experiences with the wider community.
